Sam Hunt (born August 6, 1951) is an American former professionalfootball player who was alinebacker in theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theStephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and was selected by theNew England Patriots in the 15th round of the1974 NFL draft.[1] Hunt also played for theGreen Bay Packers.[2] His younger brotherByron also played in the NFL.
