Salvador Pérez Martínez (born 8 May 1990), known asSalva Chamorro, is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as astriker.

Club career

Born inOrihuela,Valencian Community, Chamorro, spent the vast majority of his career in the Spanish lower leagues, starting out atVillarreal CF B then going on to representCP Cacereño andCD Teruel.[1] In the summer of 2011 he signed withFC Cartagena, still on loan fromVillarreal CF,[2] making his professional debut on 27 August in a 2–0 away loss againstHércules CF[3] and scoring his first goal in theSegunda División the following 7 January in the 2–0 home win overSD Huesca,[4] asthe season ended in relegation.

Chamorro subsequently returned toSegunda División B, where he appeared for Villarreal B,CD Atlético Baleares,[5]UE Llagostera[6] andLleida Esportiu.[7] He helped the second club promote to the second level for the first ever in2014, netting 11 timesplayoffs included.[8][9]

Chamorro signed for Scottish sideHamilton Academical in July 2015,[10] but he left after less than a month because international clearance could not be processed,[11] joiningC.D. Tondela from Portugal instead.[12] He made hisPrimeira Liga debut on 27 September, coming on as an 80th-minutesubstitute forDolly Menga in a 1–0 defeat atC.S. Marítimo.[13]

In his last game, Chamorro featured only six minutes but was still able to contribute to a 2–2 away draw against league leadersSporting CP, scoring the final equaliser after a counter-attack.[14] After terminating his contract citing personal reasons,[15] he returned to his country and signed withFC Barcelona B until 30 June 2017.[16]

Chamorro moved toHong Kong Premier League teamHong Kong Pegasus FC in the summer of 2016. However, after appearing rarely over the course of onesingle season, his contract was not renewed.[17]

Chamorro continued to switch clubs and countries in the following years, representingReal Murcia,UD Logroñés (both in the Spanish third tier),[18]Ittihad Tanger (Morocco),[19]Doxa Drama FC (Football League Greece) andMohun Bagan AC (IndianI-League).[20][21]
