Saint-Martin-du-Vieux-Bellême (French pronunciation:[sɛ̃maʁtɛ̃dyvjøbɛlɛm]ⓘ) is acommune in theOrnedepartment in north-westernFrance.[3]
Saint-Martin-du-Vieux-Bellême along with the communes ofVaunoise,Belforêt-en-Perche,Igé andAppenai-sous-Bellême is part of theBois et coteaux calcaires sous Belleme aNatura 2000 conservation site.[4] The site measures 105 hectares and is home to theEuropean stag beetle andEuropean ash.[5]
In addition the Commune along with another 70 communes shares part of a 47,681 hectare,Natura 2000 conservation area, called theForêts et étangs du Perche.[6]
The commune has an 18 holegolf course, Golf de Bellême.[11]
