Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes (French pronunciation:[sɛ̃melwaʁde.z‿ɔ̃d];Gallo:Saent-Mleï,Breton:Sant-Meleg) is acommune in theIlle-et-Vilainedepartment inBrittany in northwesternFrance. It is located nearSaint-Malo.
The parish was named after StMelor a Breton and Cornish saint, by the monks of Mont Saint-Michel, who established apriory there in the early 11th century.
