Safsafiyah (Arabic:صفصافية) is aSyrian village located in theMahardah Subdistrict of theMahardah District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Safsafiyah had a population of 5,062 in the 2004 census.[1] It is a mixed village inhabited by bothAlawites andSunni Bedouin.[2][3]
