Sadiqabad (Punjabi/Urdu:صادق آباد) is a city and capital ofSadiqabad Tehsil inRahim Yar Khan District,Punjab province ofPakistan.[2][3]
It is situated at the border ofSindh andPunjab. According to the2023 Pakistani census, it is the 32nd largest city of Pakistan with a population of 274,210.[1]
Sadiqabad, aTehsil ofRahimyar Khan District, is named afterSadeq Mohammad Khan V of Bahawalpur state.[4] The new city Tehsil was inaugurated in 1948. It's the Pakistan's only and the World's 3rd city to celebrate its birthday on 18th of November every year
