Sabih Khan (born 1966) is an Indian-born American business executive, who is currently the chief operating officer atApple Inc.[1] He assumed the role following the retirement ofJeff Williams in July 2025, and was previously the senior vice president of operations overseeingApple's global supply chain and supplier responsibility programs.[2]

Early life and education

Khan was born in 1966 inMoradabad, inUttar Pradesh, India.[3][4] His family moved toSingapore when he was in fifth grade.[4] He earned abachelor's degree ineconomics andmechanical engineering fromTufts University inMedford, Massachusetts, and amaster's degree in mechanical engineering fromRensselaer Polytechnic Institute inTroy, New York.[5]

Khan worked for GE Plastics (nowSABIC), where he was an applications development engineer and key account technical leader.[1]

Apple

Khan joined Apple in 1995.[5]

On June 27, 2019, Khan was named senior vice president of operations, reporting to Jeff Williams.[6] In his role at Apple, Khan's operations department has been responsible for establishing partnerships with green manufacturing suppliers.[5] Additionally, Khan's department was responsible for changes to suppliers' operations in response to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[7]

On July 8, 2025, Apple announced that Khan would succeed Williams as Chief Operating Officer.[8][9][10]
