SSAeolus was a Swedish coastal freighter built in 1884 and wrecked in 1927.
Ordered byRederi AB Svea,Aeolus was built byLindholmens Mechanical Workshop inGothenburg.[1] She was powered by a coal-burningreciprocatingsteam engine.
Aeolus operated mostly in theBaltic Sea, mainly betweenStockholm,Copenhagen,Lübeck, andRiga.[2]
Aeolus was severely damaged by fire at Stockholm on 9 April 1926.[3]
She wasbroken up in 1956.
