Chemical compound

SR 59230A is a selective antagonist of thebeta-3 adrenergic receptor,[1][2][3] but was subsequently shown to also act at α1 adrenoceptors at high doses.[4] It has been shown to block thehyperthermia produced byMDMA in animal studies.[5]
