Sociedad Gimnástica Lucense was aSpanish football club based inLugo, in the autonomous community ofGalicia.
Founded in 1943, the club immediately started to play inTercera División, achieving promotion in1949. After finishing 16th in the1951–52 season, the club was dissolved. It happened on July 29, 1952, due to the unpaid debt.[1]
One year later, Gimnástica merged withCD Polvorín and createdCD Lugo.
