Moon of Saturn
S/2006 S 3 is anatural satellite ofSaturn . Its discovery was announced byScott S. Sheppard ,David C. Jewitt ,Jan Kleyna , andBrian G. Marsden on June 26, 2006 from observations taken between January and April 2006.
S/2006 S 3 is about 6 kilometres in diameter, and orbits Saturn at an average distance of 21,308,400 km in 1160.7 days, at aninclination of 152.8° to theecliptic , in aretrograde direction and with aneccentricity of 0.4707.[ 4]
The moon was once consideredlost in 2006 as it was not seen since its discovery.[ 5] [ 6] The moon was later recovered and announced in October 2019.[ 4]
