Ryota Nakatsu (中津良太,Nakatsu Ryōta) is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler currently working as afreelancer and is best known for his tenure with the JapanesepromotionsDDT Pro Wrestling andPro-Wrestling Basara.^[3]

As a freelancer, Nakatsu is known for his relationship with various other promotions. AtSuwamachi Revitalization Vol. 9, an event promoted byAll Japan Pro Wrestling on October 30, 2016, he teamed up withKoji Iwamoto andRyuichi Sekine as Cavalry in a losing effort toIsami Kodaka,Kazuhiro Tamura andTakao Omori.^[4] AtZERO1Kohei Sato 15th Anniversary Show, an event promoted byPro Wrestling Zero1 on November 6, 2016, Nakatsu teamed up withTakumi Tsukamoto andIsami Kodaka in a losing effort againstIkuto Hidaka,Kotaro Suzuki andTakuya Sugawara.^[5]

AtNOAH Great Voyage 2018 In Yokohama, an event promoted byPro Wrestling Noah on March 11, 2018, he teamed up with Masao Inoue in a losing effort toCody Hall andKazma Sakamoto.^[6] At2AW GRAND SLAM In Shinkiba, an event promoted byActive Advance Pro Wrestling on January 10, 2020, he unsuccessfully challenged Shu Asakawa for the2AW Openweight Championship.^[7]

Nakatsu made hisprofessional wrestling debut atDDT Dramatic Fanclub Vol. 1, an event promoted byDDT Pro-Wrestling on October 18, 2014 where he went into atime-limit draw againstKouki Iwasaki.^[8]

Nakatsu competed in various signature events of the promotion. One of them isDDT Peter Pan. AtRyōgoku Peter Pan 2015 on August 23, he teamed up withYasu Urano andAkito to defeat Kota Umeda,Mao Inoue andMizuki Watase bysubmission in asix-man tag team match.^[9] He marked his last appearance four years later atWrestle Peter Pan 2019 on July 15 where he teamed up withKazusada Higuchi to defeatKota Umeda and Kouki Iwasaki in atag team match.^[10]

As for theDDT Judgement branch of events, he made his first appearance atJudgement 2016: DDT 19th Anniversary on March 21 where he competed in a#1 Contendership & Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract Battle Royal for theKO-D Openweight Championship also involving the winner Kazusada Higuchi,Tomomitsu Matsunaga,Cherry,Gorgeous Matsuno,Ken Ohka,Soma Takao and others.^[11]

He also worked in theDDT Ultimate Party events, making an appearance atUltimate Party 2019 where he teamed up withYukio Sakaguchi and competed in aGauntlet tag team match also involving Nautilus (Yuki Ueno andNaomi Yoshimura),Yukio Naya andCody Hall,Shuichiro Katsumura and Kouki Iwasaki, NEO Itoh Respect Army (Maki Itoh andChris Brookes) and Bakuretsu Sisters (Nodoka Tenma andYuki Aino).^[12]

As for theDDT Into The Fight branch, he competed for the last time atInto The Fight 2018 on where he teamed up withRyuichi Sekine andFuminori Abe in a losing effort toShuten-dōji (Kudo,Yukio Sakaguchi andMasahiro Takanashi) for theKO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championship.^[13]

Nakatsu works also forPro-Wrestling Basara where he is a formerNWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champion alongsideRyuichi Sekine. title which they won atDDT BASARA 27 ~ Osaka Winter In Oyodo ~ from January 8, 2017, an event produced when Basara was still part ofDDT Pro Wrestling where they defeatedIsami Kodaka andTakumi Tsukamoto.^[14]
