Ryan Belleville (born May 8, 1979)[1] is aCanadian stand-up comedian and actor.
Belleville became the youngest person to tape his ownComedy Now! special forCTV. He also appeared inCBC'sThe Sean Cullen Show and the filmGoing the Distance. He was also "Slime Master Ryan" on the YTV seriesUh Oh! Belleville portrayed Eddie in the 2004Disney Channel Original MovieStuck in the Suburbs and had a starring role in 2008 as Finn inFinn on the Fly.
In 2011, he co-wrote and starred in the Canadian sitcom,Almost Heroes.[2] He also voices Holger Holghart in theTeletoon animated showDetentionaire. He played the recurring character Jasper on theFox TV seriesLife on a Stick, and also appeared on the CTV show,Satisfaction.[3]
He was also in the cast of theNetflix/CBC Television comedy seriesWorkin' Moms Canadian TV comedy series withCatherine Reitman.
Belleville won thePhil Hartman Award and won a Canadian Comedy Award.[4] He has appeared eight times at the Just for Laughs comedy festival inMontreal,[5] several times at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival[6] and the Halifax Comedy Fest.[7]
In June 2016 Belleville produced and co-hosted a 12-hour telethon, with proceeds going to the Canadian Red Cross to help the victims of the Fort McMurray wildfires.[8][9]
Belleville is the brother of Jason Belleville, a writer and producer.[2]
He is married to Jenn Belleville, and together they have a son and a daughter.
