Rutowski Park is a municipal park and preserve inBayonne, New Jersey. It is located at the northeastern end of the city near the mouth of theHackensack River atNewark Bay south ofNew Jersey Route 440.[1] It is a component of theHackensack RiverWalk and is connected by footpath toStephen R. Gregg Park—Hudson County Park. The park encompasses 40 acres (0.16 km2).[2] and includes a boardwalk through the wetlands preservation area[3] and remnants of theElectric Launch Company.[4] Opened in 2006, it is named for formerMayor of Bayonne (1990–1994), Richard Rutowski.[5][6][7]
