TheRural Municipality of Odanah is a formerrural municipality (RM) in theCanadianprovince of Manitoba. It was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on December 22, 1883.[1] Its name comes from theOjibwe wordOodena meaning a "village", a "community". It ceased on January 1, 2015 as a result of itsprovincially mandatedamalgamation with theRM of Minto to form theRural Municipality of Minto – Odanah.[2]
