The RM of Gull Lake No. 139 incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913.[2]
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, the RM of Gull Lake No. 139 had a population of185 living in73 of its89 total private dwellings, a change of-8% from its 2016 population of201. With a land area of 828.48 km2 (319.88 sq mi), it had a population density of0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2021.[8]
