Ruichang (Chinese:瑞昌;pinyin:Ruìchāng) is acounty-level city under the jurisdiction ofJiujiang, in the north ofJiangxi province, along theYangtze River, borderingHubei province to the north.
Ruichang suffered deaths and extensive damage from the2005 Ruichang earthquake.
Ruichang City is divided to 2 subdistricts, 8 towns and 9 townships.[1]
