Ross Christensen (born 6 February 1962) is a formerAustralian rules footballer who played withFootscray andGeelong in theVictorian Football League (VFL).
Recruited locally fromWest Footscray, Christensen played 10 games for Footscray.[1][2] His best performance came in just his second league game when he kicked five goals in a win overHawthorn atWestern Oval.[2][3] During the 1983 season he crossed to Geelong, where he would make two senior appearances.[2] Two other players sharing his surname also played for Geelong in the 1980s,Damien andMarty, but they were not related to Ross.
Christensen continued his career in theVictorian Football Association. He won a clubbest and fairest award atWerribee in 1984 and another withCoburg in 1986.[4][5]
