Rosa Matzkin is an economist who is the Charles E. Davidson Professor of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2018 Matzkin was awarded membership to theAmerican Academy of Arts and Sciences.[1] She works in the fields ofeconometrics andmicroeconomic theory, includingpanel data models and the study of economic decision-making.[2][3]
Rosa Matzkin received her Bachelor in Science fromIsrael Institute of Technology in 1981. Matzkin continued her education at theUniversity of Minnesota where she received her Ph.D. in 1986.[3]
Rosa Matzkin currently works atThe University of California, Los Angeles where she is a professor of economics. Prior to her work at UCLA, Matzkin worked atNorthwestern University andYale University. She also had temporary positions atCaltech,University of Chicago,Massachusetts Institute of Technology, andUniversity of Wisconsin.[3]
