Ronald Víctor García is anAmericancinematographer andfilm director. He is known for directing1970shorror andexploitation films, such asThe Toy Box andInside Amy, as well as his later work ontelevision series, including directingSilk Stalkings, and working as the director of photography on series such asHawaii Five-0,Numb3rs,Gilmore Girls, and thepilot ofTwin Peaks.[1] In 1991, García received theCableACE Award for Direction of Photography for a Dramatic or Theatrical Special/Movie or Miniseries for his work on the filmEl Diablo. In 1992, he was the cinematographer for theTwin Peaks feature filmTwin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. In addition, he received 2Primetime Emmy Award nominations for other projects and was honored with a lifetime achievement award from theAmerican Society of Cinematographers.[2]
