Ronald Howard Davis (born May 1, 1954) is a retired professionalbasketballsmall forward who spent three seasons in theNational Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of theAtlanta Hawks (1976–77) and theSan Diego Clippers (1980–82). He attendedWashington State University and was drafted during the fifth round of the1976 NBA draft by the Hawks.
Davis played in theEastern Basketball Association (EBA) / Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for theAnchorage Northern Knights from 1977 to 1980 and during the 1981–82 season, and theBillings Volcanos during the 1982–83 season.[1] He won aCBA championship with the Northern Knights in 1980.[2] He was selected as theCBA Most Valuable Player in 1980, a member of the All-EBA/CBA First Team from 1978 to 1980 and a member of the All-CBA Second Team in 1982.[1]
