Rommel Agmed Pacheco Marrufo (born 12 July 1986) is a Mexican politician and retireddiver. He was a six-timePan American Games medalist (three gold, three silver). In the2004 Summer Olympics he finished in 10th place in the 10-meter platform and 3-meter springboard. In the2008 Summer Olympics he finished in 8th place in the 10-meter platform.
In the2021 mid-terms Pacheco was elected to theChamber of Deputies to represent thethird district ofYucatán for theNational Action Party (PAN).[1] In October 2024, he was appointed by PresidentClaudia Sheinbaum as the new head of theNational Commission for Physical Culture and Sport (CONADE), replacingAna Gabriela Guevara.[2]
