Roelof "Roel"Johan Luynenburg (23 May 1945 – 6 November 2023)[1] was a Dutchrower, who represented his native country twice at theSummer Olympics, starting in1968. Four years later, he won the bronze medal in thecoxless pairs alongsideRuud Stokvis.[2] Luynenburg also won a bronze medal in thecoxless fours at the1966 World Rowing Championships.[3]
Luynenburg died in November 2023, at the age of 78.[4]
