Rodin Motorsport is aNew Zealandmotor racing team based in theUnited Kingdom. It currently competes in six championships:FIA Formula 2 Championship,FIA Formula 3 Championship,GB3 Championship,F1 Academy,F4 British Championship andSpanish F4 Championship.

In 2023, New Zealand–based manufacturer Rodin Cars became the majority shareholder ofCarlin Motorsport following investment from founder David Dicker in a deal that saw the team rebrand as Rodin Carlin.[1][2] The Carlin family departed the team in late 2023, with Dicker taking full control and renaming the company as Rodin Motorsport.[3][4]

History

Rodin Cars CEO David Dicker acquired a majority stake inCarlin Motorsport in 2023. Following this investment, Carlin Motorsport was renamed intoRodin Carlin.[1] At the end of 2023, Carlin Motorsport founderTrevor Carlin was fired by Dicker[3] following a fallout between the two parties related to poor finances and Carlin's contributions to theF1 movie.[5] Rodin Carlin was then re-established asRodin Motorsport.[2]

F1 Academy

For the2024 season ofF1 Academy, Rodin Motorsport retainedAbbi Pulling andJessica Edgar after competing with the team in their guise asRodin Carlin.[6][7]Lola Lovinfosse signed with the team after previously competing in the2023 season withCampos Racing.[8] In Round 5 atQatar, Pulling finished Race 1 in second and won the championship, also securing Rodin Motorsport's first drivers' championship.[9]

For the2025 season,Chloe Chong,Emma Felbermayr andElla Lloyd joined the team.[10] Lloyd will return for the2026 season with Rodin Motorsport. Ella Stevens will join Lloyd as the twoMcLaren supported drivers for the season.[11]

GB3 Championship

For winning the 2024 season of F1 Academy,[12] Pulling received a fully funded seat inGB3 Championship with Rodin Motorsport for the2025 season.[13]

FIA Formula 3 Championship

In 2024, the team signed2023 GB3 championCallum Voisin.[14]Joseph Loake, who finished third in the 2023 GB3 Championship, was the second driver to be signed to the team.[15] Returning FIA Formula 3 driverPiotr Wiśnicki completed the team's lineup having previously raced forPHM Racing byCharouz in2023.[16]

FIA Formula 2 Championship

For the2024 Formula 2 Championship, the team signedZane Maloney, who was with the team under its guise asRodin Carlin, and2023 Super Formula championRitomo Miyata.[17][18]

For2025,Alex Dunne[19] andAmaury Cordeel[20] joined the team. Cordeel replaced the Australian driverChristian Mansell, who stepped away from racing for personal reasons.[21] Dunne won his first race with the team at theSakhir feature race, a second atImola and is leading the Drivers' Championship.[22]
