Rodney Jarvis Sherman (December 25, 1944 – February 6, 2024) was an American professionalfootball player who was awide receiver in theAmerican Football League (AFL) andNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theUSC Trojans.
Sherman attendedJohn Muir High School inPasadena, California.
Sherman playedcollege football at theUniversity of Southern California. He was anAll-Pac-8 selection in 1966.
Sherman played for the AFL'sOakland Raiders (1967,1969) andCincinnati Bengals (1968) and for the NFL'sRaiders (1970–1971),Denver Broncos (1972) andLos Angeles Rams (1973).
Sherman died on February 6, 2024, at the age of 79.[1]
