Rocca di Cave is acomune (municipality) in theMetropolitan City of Rome in theItalian region ofLatium, located about 40 kilometres (25 miles) east ofRome.

It is home to the remains of theColonna family's castle, which today houses a Geo-Palaeontological Museum and an astronomical observation point.
