Robin Veldman (born 24 December 1985) is a Dutchfootball manager who is the manager ofSC Heerenveen in theEredivisie.
Veldman was born and raised in theFlevopolder.[1] He played for SV Markesse.[1]
Veldman started his career as a youth coach for SV Marknesse.[1] He spent 11 years atSC Heerenveen, where he worked with players includingHakim Ziyech.[2] He then became a trainer forAFC Ajax, where he worked with the youth team.[2]
In 2021, Veldman was hired to work with the Anderlecht U21 team.[2]
In 2022, Veldman was appointed interim head coach of Belgian sideAnderlecht.[1][2][3][4][5]
In 2023, he was appointed manager of Scottish sideQueen's Park.[6][7][8]
On 19 March 2024, Veldman was hired byClub Brugge to manage their reserve teamClub NXT inChallenger Pro League.[9]
On 21 March 2025, Veldman returned to Heerenveen to become their new permanent manager afterFeyenoord signedRobin van Persie to replaceBrian Priske as their new manager.[10][11]
