Roberto Figueroa (20 March 1904 – 24 January 1989) was a Uruguayanfootballer who played for theUruguay national team. He was a member of the squad which won the gold medal in1928 Olympics.[1]
Born inMontevideo, Figueroa played club football forMontevideo Wanderers, where he won two league titles while scoring 75 goals in 331 matches. He was inducted into the club's hall of fame in 2009.[2]
Figueroa made nine appearances for theUruguay national football team from 1921 to 1933.[3]
