Roberto Innocent Faria (born 15 January 2004) is aBrazilian racing driver who last raced in the2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship withPHM Racing byCharouz. He previously raced in theGB3 Championship withFortec Motorsports. He was a member of theSauber Academy.[1]

Career

Karting

Having begun karting at the age of 11,[2] Faria soon moved into European competitions, racing in theKarting World Championship in 2017. He would compete for KR Motorsport in 2018, racing in theEuropean and World championships.

Lower formulae

Faria made his single-seater racing debut in 2019, competing forFortec Motorsports in theF4 British Championship alongside Mariano Martínez.[3] He would experience a difficult season, scoring a best finish of fourth atSilverstone and finishing eleventh in the standings, one place and fifty points ahead of his teammate.

FIA Formula 3 Championship

In September 2022, Faria partook in theFIA Formula 3 post-season test withVan Amersfoort Racing during the first day.[4] In February 2023, Faria was announced as aPHM Racing byCharouz driver for the2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship.[5]
