Robert Tate (born October 19, 1973) is an American former professionalfootballcornerback andreturn specialist. He was selected in the sixth round of the1997 NFL draft.[1] Tate played nine seasons of professional football in theNational Football League (NFL) with theMinnesota Vikings,Baltimore Ravens andArizona Cardinals. Tate played in college for theUniversity of Cincinnati. Originally awide receiver, he was converted to defensive back upon entering the NFL. Tate played at Cincinnati with notable NFL playersArtrell Hawkins,Sam Garnes, andJason Fabini.
