Robert Ibertsberger (born 20 January 1977) is an Austrianfootball manager and former player[1] who is the assistant manager ofKosovo national team.[2] He is the brother ofAndreas Ibertsberger. He had to retire in 2004 due to serious knee injury.
Robert Ibertsberger became assistant manager ofWolfsberger AC in 2017.[3] He then was appointed manager of Wolfsberg on 26 March 2018 and was manager until the end of the2017–18 season.[4] His first match was a 2–0 loss toRed Bull Salzburg.[5] Ibertsberger left Wolfsberg to become assistant manager ofAustria Wien.[3] On 11 March 2019, Ibertsberger again replaced an outgoing manager.[6] He replacedThomas Letsch at Austria Wien.[6] His first match was a 1–0 loss toSturm Graz.[7] He became manager ofSKN St. Pölten on 9 March 2020.[8] St. Pölten finished the2019–20 season with five wins in ten league matches.[9] St. Pölten's 2020–21 season started with a 3–1 win against ATSV Wolfsberg.[10]
Inbertsberger was hired bySV Ried in January 2022 and then fired on 19 April 2022.[11]
