Rivière-des-Prairies (French pronunciation:[ʁivjɛʁdepʁɛʁi]) was a municipality that was annexed byMontreal,Canada in 1963.[1] On January 1, 2002, it became part of the borough ofRivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est. On January 1, 2006Montreal East demerged, and the borough becameRivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles.
