TheRiver Greta is a river flowing throughLancashire andNorth Yorkshire in the north of England.
The river is formed by the confluence of theRiver Twiss and theRiver Doe atIngleton.[3]
From Ingleton, the Greta travels westwards throughBurton-in-Lonsdale and, over the border in Lancashire, Cantsfield and Wrayton, passingThurland Castle, where the Greta flows into theRiver Lune.[4]
