TheRip City Remix are an American professionalbasketball team in theNBA G League based inNorth Portland, Oregon, and are affiliated with thePortland Trail Blazers of theNational Basketball Association. The team plays home games at theChiles Center and debuted in the 2023–24 season.
On April 26, 2023, thePortland Trail Blazers announced that they would be launching anNBA G League team for the 2023–24 season[2][3][4] and on June 15, they hiredJim Moran to be their first head coach.[5] On June 8 they held aexpansion draft and selected 14 players. On June 26, the team's logo and name were unveiled as the Rip City Remix.[6][7]
