Rick Smith is an American businessman and author.

Smith graduated from theUniversity of Florida with a B.S. in Finance.[1] and earned anM.B.A. in Marketing and Strategy from theKellogg School of Management.[2]

In 2003, Smith co-authoredThe 5 Patterns of Extraordinary Careers with James Citrin.[3] In 2009, Smith publishedThe Leap: How 3 Simple Changes Can Propel Your Career from Good to Great.[4]

Smith was the founder and CEO of World 50, an executive networking company.[1]
