Richard William Gordon Lewis Mitchell (27 February 1913 – 13 January 1988) was aGrenadian-bornTrinidadian first-classcricketer.
Born on theCaribbean island ofGrenada in February 1913, Mitchell later studied in England atKeble College at theUniversity of Oxford.[1] While studying at Oxford, he made a single appearance infirst-class cricket forOxford University against a combinedMinor Counties cricket team atOxford in 1935.[2] Returning to the Caribbean after graduating from Oxford, later playing two first-class matches againstBritish Guinea in 1938 for a team led byRolph Grant.[2] Grant later moved toTrinidad where he died atPort of Spain in January 1988.
