Richa Ghosh (Bengali:রিচা ঘোষ; born 28 September 2003) is an Indiancricketer.[1][2] In January 2020, at the age of 16, she was named in India's squad for the2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.[3][4][5][6] Later in the same month, she was also named in India's squad for the2020 Australia women's Tri-Nation Series.[7] On 12 February 2020, she made her WT20I debut for India, againstAustralia, in the final of the tri-series.[8] In May 2021, she was awarded a central contract for the first time.[9]

In August 2021, Ghosh was called up to the national team,[10] for their seriesagainst Australia.[11] She was named in India's squad for the one-offwomen's Test match andWomen's One Day International (WODI) matches.[12] She made her WODI debut on 21 September 2021, for India againstAustralia.[13]

She played for theHobart Hurricanes in the2021–22 Women's Big Bash League season.[14] In January 2022, she was named in India's team for the2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.[15]

Ghosh was signed byRoyal Challengers Bangalore for ₹1.90 crore for the2023 Women's Premier League.[16] In December 2023, she was named in India's squad for their seriesagainst Australia.[17] She made herWomen's Test debut for India on 21 December 2023, scoring 52 runs in the first innings and 13 in the second.[18]

She was named in the India squad for the2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.[19]

On 19 December 2024, Richa Ghosh scored the joint fastest-fifty in women's T20Is taking India to their highest-ever total in the format during 3rd T20I vs West Indies Women's.[20]
