Riccardo Villa (born 5 January 2005) is an Italianartistic gymnast. He is the2023 Junior World all-around bronze medalist.
Villa was born inMonza in 2005.[1]
In late July of 2022 Villa competed at theEuropean Youth Olympic Festival where he helped Italy win gold as a team. Individually Villa won silver in the all-around behindRadomyr Stelmakh. Additionally he and teammateArianna Grillo won gold in the mixed pairs portion of the competition.[2] In August Villa competed at theEuropean Championships where he helped Italy win gold as a team. Individually he won gold on pommel horse and placed sixth in the all-around.[3]
In March 2023 Villa competed at the secondJunior World Championships alongsideManuel Berettera andTommaso Brugnami. On the first day of competition he helped Italy win the bronze medal behind Japan and China.[4][5] During the all-around final Villa won bronze, 0.001 points ahead ofTomoharu Tsunogai and behindQin Guohuan of China andÁngel Barajas of Colombia.[6] Additionally Villa won bronze on rings and placed fifth on horizontal bar.
Villa made his senior international debut at the2025 Koper World Challenge Cup where he placed fifth on rings and fourth on horizontal bar. He next competed at the2025 World University Games alongsideLorenzo Bonicelli andNiccoló Vannucchi. They withdrew from the competition after Bonicelli suffered a serious neck injury when dismounting the rings.[7]
