Ricardo Alex Costa Santos (born 6 January 1975) is a Brazilianbeach volleyball player.

Santos won the silver medal in themen's beach volleyball competition at the2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney with partnerZé Marco de Melo. Santos also represented his native country at the2004 Summer Olympics inAthens. There he claimed the gold medal, teaming up withEmanuel Rego, with whom he won the world title in October 2003. The same pairing went on to win the bronze medal at the2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.[1]

At the2012 Summer Olympics in London, he teamed withPedro Cunha, but they lost in the quarter-finals.[2]
