Constituency of the National Assembly of France
The 1st constituency of theRhône (French :Première circonscription du Rhône ) is a French legislativeconstituency in the Rhônedépartement MP using atwo round electoral system .
The 1st constituency of theRhône includes western parts of a number ofCantons ofLyon . It is an urban seat in France's second largest city. Since 2015 this constituency has been part of theLyon Metropolis and therefore outside of theRhône for administrative purposes.
The seat was, until 2012, a stronghold of the centre right when it fell toThierry Braillard of thePRG . It subsequently was captured byEn Marche! in2017 .
