Remada (Arabic:رمادة) is amunicipality inTunisia, close to the border withLibya. It is located at around32°18′22″N10°22′56″E / 32.30611°N 10.38222°E /32.30611; 10.38222. Remada was built as agarrison town by theFrench and is today home to a Tunisianmilitary base.

During the First World War, the French occupied the city and built houses for their soldiers.
