This is a list ofregents (Greek:αντιβασιλείς, sing. αντιβασιλεύς) in the modernKingdom of Greece (1832–1924 and 1935–1973). Aregent, from theLatinregens "one who reigns", is a person selected to act ashead of state (ruling or not) becausethe ruler is a minor, not present, or debilitated.[1]
