Rebekka Johnson is an American actress, comedian and writer, producer[1] fromStaten Island, New York.[2] Johnson is best known for playing Dawn Rivecca onNetflix's wrestling comedyGLOW.[3] She was featured onMTV's prank showBoiling Points. Johnson has been performing with her musical comedy groupThe Apple Sisters along with her GLOW co-starKimmy Gatewood and Sarah Lowe since 2007.
Johnson is co-creator ofThe Apple Sisters, aWorld War II musical comedy trio. The group, which consists ofKimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, andSarah Lowe, started in 2007 in New York City. They received wide acclaim at the 2008Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, which lead them to move toLos Angeles where they continually perform.[4] She is a co-creator of the award winning Apple Sisters which performed at this festival.[5]
