Rebecca Humphries (born 3 October 1987) is a British actress and writer.

Career

Humphries attendedLondon Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and has appeared on stage in productions ofTemple at theDonmar Warehouse,Pomona at theNational Theatre andBlackout Songs at theHampstead Theatre. She is also the author of the memoirWhy Did You Stay? published in 2022.[1]

Humphries' comedy television roles have includedFriday Night Dinner andMorgana Robinson's The Agency. She played Julie Fincham in theAmazon Prime Video seriesTen Percent, a British remake ofCall My Agent!, in April 2022.[2]

In 2023, Humphries portrayedCarrie Johnson in theChannel 4 docu-dramaPartygate.[3] Previously, she had portrayedCarol Thatcher in the television drama seriesThe Crown.[4][5] Also in 2023, she started filmingBen Wheatley comedy-horror seriesGeneration Z.[6]

Personal life

Humphries began a relationship with British comedianSeann Walsh in 2013, which lasted for five years. She has spoken in theHouse of Commons aboutgaslighting and the media on behalf of the organisers of the Women’s March London.[7][8]
