Ray Enright (March 25, 1896 – April 3, 1965) was an Americanfilm director. He directed 73 films between 1927–53, many of them forWarner Bros.[1] He oversaw comedy films likeJoe E. Brown vehicles, five of the six informal pairings ofJoan Blondell andGlenda Farrell, and later directed a number ofWesterns, many featuringRandolph Scott. Enright was born inAnderson, Indiana. He served in theU.S. ArmySignal Corps in France during theFirst World War. Enright died inHollywood, California, from aheart attack.
