Ravi Kant (born 14 September 1956) is a professor of surgery atSharda University, who was the director of theAll India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh from 2017 to 2021[5] and the Vice Chancellor ofKing George's Medical University from 2014 to 2017. Earlier he was head of surgery atAll India Institute of Medical Sciences inBhopal and faculty atMaulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. The Government of India awarded him thePadma Shri in 2016.[4][6]
