Randpark Golf Club is a golf club inRandburg,South Africa.

Background

The club was founded 1940.[1] It is located inRandpark, South Africa, a suburb ofRandburg.[2] The club has three courses: Bushwillow, Firethorn, and Creek 9.[1] Bushwillow, then named Windsor 12, was completed in 1946. It was significantly renovated in 1952 by Bob Grimsdell.[3] Firethorn was designed bySid Brews.[3] It opened in 1971.[2] Firethorn is known to be the hardest course on the property.[2]

Cobie Legrange worked as Randpark's club professional for many years.[4]

In October 2020 it was announced the course would host theJoburg Open the following month.[5] The event was played at Bushwillow course and won by Denmark'sJoachim B. Hansen.[6] It was an event on the European Tour.[7] It was also an event on theSunshine Tour.
