Raffaele di Paco (6 July 1908–21 May 1996) was an Italianroad racing cyclist, who won five stages in the1931 Tour de France four stages in the1932 Tour de France and two stages in the1935 Tour de France,[1] and wore theyellow jersey for a total of four days in 1931.[2] One of these, after stage 5, he shared the lead withCharles Pélissier.[3] Di Paco was born and died inFauglia,Tuscany.
Leading up to the Pyrenees, Italy's ace sprinter Rafaelo di Paco dueled with France's Charles Pélissier for stage wins and the lead. After stage 5 they shared the lead for a single day.
