
TheRaeffsky Islands orRaevski Islands (French:Îles Raéffsky orÎles Raevski) is a subgroup of theTuamotus inFrench Polynesia, which includes the uninhabited atolls ofHiti,Tepoto andTuanake.[1] They are located roughly in the central area of the main Tuamotuatoll cluster. (Latitude: 16° 45' 0 S, Longitude: 144° 13' 60 W.) Named afterNikolay Raevsky, a Russian general of the Napoleonic wars.
