TheRadio Télévision Suisse (French pronunciation:[ʁadjotelevizjɔ̃sɥis]; "Swiss Radio Television"), shortened toRTS, is a subsidiary of theSwiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), operating inFrench-speaking Switzerland. It was created on 1 January 2010 by a merger ofRadio Suisse Romande (RSR) andTélévision Suisse Romande (TSR).
The first evening programme to be broadcast incolour onTélévision suisse romande was aired in 1968.[1]
The station has been accused of multiple cases ofsexual harassment in recent years, including accusations against news personalityDarius Rochebin.[2][3]
While keeping its headquarters in Geneva,Radio Télévision Suisse moved its Lausanne-based radio headquarters to a new building on theLausanne campus in 2020.[4][5]
